明末清初 青花人物故事圖觚
Transitional Period, 17th Century
The vase is well painted with a scene of a scholar conversing with a general, with an attendant standing behind carrying a tray full of fruits, and another attendant caring for a horse to the side. The center section is decorated with cranes enclosed by ruyi clouds above pendant leaf tips on the lower body.

Condition
Overall good visual condition, the rim is slightly polished, with scattered dark specks, with a tiny flake to the upper rim, and a few tiny glaze peels to the exterior of the upper rim, firing imperfection and abrasions to the underside.
